Poem:You've taught us the basics about how to play ball-From running the bases to catching the ball-We learned about fielding and the love of the game-From pop-ups to grounders your focus remained-To enjoy ourselves and have lots of fun-It didn't matter if we lost or won-As long as we played hard and perfected our swing-And learned the lessons a good coach might bring-Thank you for the many lessons that you've taught-But mostly for teaching us to be good sports.
