Poem: The fireman will feel different from the rest when the "Badge of Honor" sits upon his chest. As each fire alarm sounds his focus will remain- To save one and all from the tragedy of a raging flame-Yet this same fireman desires no mention of fearlessness or acclaim-While others run away, he runs towards-Yet, he's never in need of the "Job Well Done" applause-His focus heroically remains to save the lives and property- And be the best fireman he can possibly be- In the boots of a fireman, one must stand in uncertain fate-Unbeknownst of the hazards and destiny that await-Only a certain kind of man can fill those fireman boots, that's definitely true-And that man, I know, is certainly you!
